Eligibility:
Acceptance from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI): You must have an offer from a recognized Canadian school.
Proof of Financial Support: You need to demonstrate you can cover tuition fees, living expenses, and return travel.
Language Proficiency: Proof of English or French proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL for English).
Good Health and No Criminal Record: A medical exam and police certificate may be required.
Study Visa (Study Permit):
To study in Canada for more than six months, you need a study permit. This is the Canadian study visa, and to apply, you must:
Have a valid DLI acceptance letter.
Show proof of sufficient funds.
Apply online or at a Canadian visa office in your country.
A study permit allows you to work part-time (20 hours/week) during terms and full-time during breaks.
This visa is typically valid for the duration of your program plus an extra 90 days.
Prospective students are required to apply through the regular study permit stream. This process may involve longer processing times and different eligibility criteria. Language Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency through tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE.
Financial Support: You must show you can financially support yourself during your studies, including tuition fees and living expenses.

Study Visa (Tier 4 Student Visa):
To study in the UK, you need a Tier 4 (General) Student Visa for courses longer than 6 months. To apply, you need:

Work Rights:

Tuition Fees for International Students:

Study Visa Requirements (F-1 Visa):
To study in the U.S. as an international student, you will need an F-1 Student Visa. Here's the process:
Acceptance into a SEVP-Approved School: You must be accepted by a school certified by the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP). Upon acceptance, the school will send you a Form I-20, which you need for your visa application.
Complete the DS-160 Form: The DS-160 is the online Nonimmigrant Visa Application form. Once completed, you will get a confirmation page that you will need to bring to your visa interview.
Pay the SEVIS Fee: The SEVIS (Student and Exchange Visitor Information System) fee is mandatory for all F-1 visa applicants. This fee must be paid before the visa interview.
Schedule Visa Interview: Schedule an appointment at a U.S. embassy or consulate in your home country. You will need to bring several documents, including:
Your passport.
Form I-20 (provided by your U.S. institution).
DS-160 confirmation page.
SEVIS fee receipt.
Financial documents proving you can support yourself while studying (bank statements, affidavits, scholarship letters).
English proficiency test scores.
Academic transcripts (high school or university).
Attend Visa Interview: During your interview, you will be asked about your study plans and financial situation. The officer will determine if you meet the requirements for the F-1 visa.

Work Rights on F-1 Visa:

Off-Campus Work: After completing one academic year, F-1 students may be eligible for:
Optional Practical Training (OPT): Allows students to work for up to 12 months in their field of study after graduation. STEM graduates can apply for an additional 24 months extension.
